Alan (left) is enjoying his new brother in this picture!  Little did he know he was on "the list" at the shelter - he is a very lucky boy and definitely deserves his great new home! Rescued and adopted in 2007.
Toby (middle) was surrendered by his owner who could not take care of him properly.  He doesn't have to worry about that now!  He has plenty of friends to be sure he gets all he needs! Rescued and adopted in 2006.
Marcus was rescued and found to need an unusual surgery on his mouth..once he recovered he was lucky to find a wonderful home in the foothills and is looking forward to playing in the snow! Rescued and adopted in 2007.
Kay was passed over again and again at the shelter - and finally found herself in danger of being put to sleep.  Happily, once we rescued her, it only took a few days for us to find her true "forever home"!  Rescued and adopted in 2006.
Marty came to us in 4/07 with a huge tumor on his hip. Sadly there was nothing the vets could do to fix him.  Marty was lucky enough to find a wonderful fostermom who took him in to her family and happily informed us a few months later that she could not let him go and wanted to officially adopt him - Marty is a very lucky boy and deserves all the spoiling she has in store for him!  Rescued and adopted in 2007.
Coco seemed so sad at the shelter - but all that changed when she was rescued and finally found her new loving home in 7/07.  Thanks to her wonderful family, we know she will never be sad again!
Rosie (back) was rescued 2 years ago with her 2 brothers and twin sister.  Her family felt she needed a buddy and adopted little Matty from us in 8/07!  Matty had been at the shelter for months and had "fallen through the cracks" so by the time he made it on their website, he was on the list to be euthanized!  We are so happy we rescued him and know he has found a special home!
Rosie getting adopted 2 yrs ago!
Mohawk (middle) was taken from a neglectful home - despite that, he had a wonderful attitude and is now being spoiled rotten for the first time ever!  Rescued and adopted 8/07.
Oliver was one of 11 pups that were born in the Yuba City Shelter.  His mom, Bashful, was a shy hound/shep mix and did a great job taking care of her babies.  Thanks to the wonderful fosterhome that took this VERY large family in, we were able to find great homes for all!  As you can see Oliver has a wonderful family who recently celebrated his one year birthday with him!  Rescued and adopted in 2006.
As you can see poor Duncan was very neglected.  When we saw his plea on the internet we couldn't wait to rescue him and set him on his way to a new life, one where he will never feel bad again!  We are thrilled to say that Duncan has surely found that life!  He has a WONDERFUL new family that is so happy to have him as their new addition - and it's obvious that he is in loving hands.  He can now move forward with the life we all hoped he'd have!  Rescued and adopted in 2008
Dakota came to us with 2 broken front legs - but boy was he a trooper!  We promised him that if he was brave, we would find him a great home......so Dakota kept his spirits up and was rewarded with a SUPER new family!  He has many new adventures yet to come and we can't wait to see updated pix to show off his journeys!  Rescued and adopted in 2008
LB and Laddy were rescued from a hoarder and were in poor condition.  They were undersocialized and were suffering from neglect.  These two escaped death several times (who says cats are the only ones with nine lives!).  Amazingly, a wonderful couple saw past their "issues" and took them into their home and hearts - as you can see, they have made themselves quite comfy and deserve all the joy their new life is bringing them!  Rescued and adopted in 2007.
Poor Mark came to us from the shelter in horrible condition - we are all amazed that he actually survived!  Thanks to the love and dedication of his fosterfamily, he made it through months of vet treatments to blossom into a beautiful boy!  He still has lingering health issues due his neglect at the shelter, but his fosterhome is dedicated to giving him the best life possible!  In fact, they decided to adopt this sweet lucky boy and we know he will get all that he needs and deserves in life! Rescued and adopted in 2007
